In the time frame of this report CERT.LV registered 491,974 threatened unique IP addresses, provided the necessary support to both the public, private sector and law enforcement authorities in dealing with incidents, participated in 127 different events and educated nearly 8,000 people.

Cybersecurity conference "Cyberchess 2018" will be held on October 9, 2018 in Riga, Latvia. Topics: security of the global cyberspace, trending threats, tools and methods for their mitigation,and different approaches for dealing with technical and not so technical challenges.
In the time frame of this report CERT.LV registered 477 252 threatened unique IP addresses, undertook 13 penetration tests on websites of various state and municipal authorities, provided support to resolve incidents in the public and private sector, as well as for law enforcement authorities, and participated in 125 different events educating close to 8000 people.

Crossed Swords 2018, the technical red teaming cyber defence exercise of the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence, took place last week in Latvia in cooperation with CERT.LV.
